Porter-Cable's Oscillating Tool.....The Video
Porter-Cable has put together this little video highlighting their new oscillating tool. We've been pretty burned out on the oscillating tool thing, but this one, because of its quick change feature, has caused our ears to prick up. We actually got a sample this afternoon and immediately opened it and started swapping out accessories as fast as we could...and we could do it pretty fast. So check out the video and keep and eye on how quickly accessories lock in and out of the tool. It's waaaay faster than the allen head system and even faster than the Fein quick change. We're going to start using the tool tomorrow and hopefully have a review up before too long.

I have one of these, they are awesome. The only drawback so far I have noticed is the blade. They are constructed of two pieces basically spot welded together as opposed to all other brand blades that are one solid piece. So far I have only had one blade break apart at the weld, but at about $14 a blade, thats one too many.
I think the biggest drawback to this new PC oscillating tool is the fact that you'll be locked into buying the expensive PC blades because the mount is proprietary.
I have heard that PC will offer an adaptor to make other blades fit, but to use it you'll have to use an allen bolt to hold them on, and that pretty much defeats the best feature of this tool.
