I have one of these saws and although it cuts good keeping the blade perpendicular to the work piece is almost impossible. therefore i do not like it and thinking about returning.

No shoe on the saw eh? Must just let it use the housing to get perpendicular cuts. the little black beak on the front must be used for lining up the cut.
