Victorinox Swisscard Lite

victorinox_swisscard.jpgWe saw one of these at the local hardware store the other day and thought it was an interesting idea and worth passing on. Victorinox, maker of the Swiss Army Knife, has adapted their multi-tool functionality to something the size of a credit card. The Swisscard Lite comes in a couple colors, each with different tools.

The Swisscard Lite Ruby comes equipped with:

  • LED light
  • Knife
  • Scissors
  • Straight pin
  • Nail file
  • Screwdriver
  • Tweezers
  • Toothpick
  • Ball point pen
  • Ruler (cm and in)

The Swisscard Lite Sapphire and Onyx come with:
  • Knife
  • Scissors
  • Pin
  • Pen
  • Two flathead screwdrivers
  • Two Philips Screwdrivers
  • Tweezers
  • Magnifying glass
  • LED light

And, like we said, all of this in something the size of a credit card. Although the tools in the Swisscard are light-duty and a step down from the "survivalist" level of their Swiss Army Kinves, they would probably come in handy kicking around your pocket, glove box, purse, or fanny pack.

The Swisscard Lite retails for under $20.
