Leatherman Hybrid Gardening Multitool

leatherman_hybrid.jpgSpring is almost here, even up here in the Northeast, and it's time to start replacing all the gardening tools that you left out all winter. Courtesy of Leatherman, you can do this with one single purchase. Their Hybrid Gardening Multitool looks like a winner for any yard worker.

The tool is constructed like any other Leatherman, with the whole thing folding up into a pocket sized unit. Because of the nature of it, it's a bit larger than their regular models, but only by 3/4".

The Hybrid Gardening Tool contains:

  • Bypass Pruners
  • Wire Cutters
  • Weed Remover
  • Grafting Knife
  • Bark Lifter
  • Philips Screwdriver
  • Saw
  • Flat Screwdriver
  • Sprinkler Tool
  • Ruler

...and of course a bottle opener for that ice cold late morning afternoon beer.

We're not really sure what exactly a bark lifter is and we don't know what a sprinkler tool looks like, but since Leatherman tools are designed with a lot of thought, we're sure that they're something you garden-types will want to have at the ready. But we do wonder how easy it will be to handle this tool with gardening gloves on.

The Leatherman Hybrid sells for just over $30, a little cheaper than their standard multitool.
