Skil XBench Deluxe Kit

skil_xbench_deluxe.jpgA while back, we told you about the Skil XBench, a cool looking workstation with a bunch of nice features. We assume, from the traffic we got on the site, that it was a big hit for the holidays. But if you don't have one yet, now might be the time because Skil is offering a Deluxe Kit with a load of extras.

Read on to see how big the Deluxe really is...

The Deluxe Edition comes with:

  • XBench
  • 2 Wedge Dogs
  • Clamp Kit
  • Blank Insert Plate
  • Shelf/Bag Accessory
  • Router Insert Plate (tool not included)
  • Jigsaw Insert Plate (tool not included)
  • Sander Insert Plate (tool not included)
  • Drill Press Insert Plate (tool not included)
  • Finishing Tray
  • Tail Vise
  • Downdraft Table

In addition to all of this, Skil will also throw in:

  • Protective Glasses
  • Leather Gloves
  • Ear Protection
  • Handy Magazine Trial Subscription
  • HandymanClub.com Trial Membership

It's a lot and the price is $400.00, payable in three payments of $130. Also, if you purchase now, you get an additional 20% off of selected Skil tools (router, planer, circular saw, and jigsaw).

If you only want the Basic Set, that's available too (XBench, 2 Wedge Dogs, Clamp Kit, Blank Insert Plate, Shelf/Bag Accessory). The other accessories are available separately and range in cost from $50 to $15. If you were to buy the Basic Set with all of the accessories, the price is almost $410, so there are some savings if you opt for the Deluxe Kit.

Do you know what model tools you have to buy with the insert plates or do they fit any tool?
